Day Eight: Saturday, June 14, 2008

Day Eight: Saturday, June 14
Met with Steve at 7 for prayer at EPC. It is a joy meeting with him to pray for the church and through the directory.

The rest of the moring was spent getting out to look at cars for Kate. We have realized that with all the driving she has to do, it makes sense to get a car that gets better gas mileage even if it means cosigning a loan with her. We are just beginning the thought process so we'll see where it takes us. We went to the Enterprise Car Sales place and found out they didn' have many cars, but you could get a 2.99% loan rate to buy one if that actually had one you wanted. We stopped on the way home and had lunch at Bobo's. Pretty fun.

Kate also was driving home. She started at about 10 and then we traced her progress along the way. She can fly I think.

Zoe went to a basketball game to try and learn how to take photos. I had to go down to school to get the flash for her to try. Apparently she had Emma explain to her what to do over the phone.

Kate made it home and then we went over the Gary and Peggy's for Danny graduation party. The food was great, but I actually liked what she made for Robert's even better. Her hot rubbed beef brisket was my favorite
