Day Sixty Five: Sunday, August 10, 2008
Church at East Parkway
Heading Up to Reno
Courtyard by Marriott

Turns out Robert never came home last night which kept Christine up. He sent a text, with some story, but Christine still couldn't sleep. I am very glad to be able to be back at church at East Parkway. It's been at least two weeks. I think I was there on the 27th of July last.
I had the invocation and Billy was there to preach as Wayne and Sally were waiting for the baby. Billy announced that he would be going to Afghanistan or Iraq to fill an open spot sometime soon, but nothing was definite. He preached on Philippians 4 and the entire service was a blessing. Christine had to play for all of both services so I just hung around during the second service.
After church we went to the store and got meat and bread for lunch and then I've been watching the Olympics and probably will be until it's time to head for Reno.
I left at about 7 and stoppd to buy a Piemonte map at Barnes and Noble and get a Jamba Juice. The drive went well but it took me until almost 10 to get here. Actually wish I would have left a little earlier. I was surprised to find that it was located past the Grand Sierra.
I checked in at the Courtyard by Marriott and the rook looked just like the one we had at JOs last year.

I stayed up too late working on my Indesign session and didn't get to bed until after 12:30.
