Nailing Psalm 119
Afternoon Fun
Got up at 5:30 ish the work on my Psalm 119:1-8 memorization. I have had months to get 'er done, but for some reason it its only coming together now. Lord please help me do it well to your glory.
Blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart,
Who also do no wrong but walk in His ways.
You have commanded your precepts to be kept diligently.
Oh that my ways may be steadfast in keeping your statutes.
Then I shall not be put to shame keeping my eyes on all your commandments.
I will praise you with an upright heart when I learn your righteous rules.
I will keep your statutes; do not utterly forsake me.
I went out and ran the loop.
Gary led the 7 am study and did an amazing job reviewing what we had covered last night as well as getting every one involved.
Kate and Ashleigh at the morning Bible study
Breakfast started at 7:45 and the next session started at 9:15. We were supposed to recite Psalm 119 before the service, but it wound up being done afterward which really was a good thing. Praise the Lord my part actually went well.
After noon Gary and I went for a walk around the loop after we stopped at the beach. We stopped at the little store and sat in the rockers and after a while Marcy and Everett came by and we had a great chat with them. At four we went to see the missionary couple give their testimonies, but I was falling asleep so I came up and took a nap.
At 5:45 we had dinner and then the session started at 7:15. Desserts followed and then the talent show started a bit after 9. The acts were fine. Emily peterson played the violin and tim French did a great overview of the different types of comedy.
