Day Thirty Six: Saturday, July 12, 2008
Trip to Gettysburg via Minneapolis and Baltimore
Dinner at the Dobbins House
Got up at 3:30 to be sure to make my 6:30 plane. I had to do the final packing and weighing after I got up and showered. We left at about 4:45 and make it to the airport a little after 5. Much to my chagrin when I went to the Delta counter I discovered that I was actually on Northwest for the trip today and then on Delta coming home. So I had to jump on a shuttle to get over to terminal B. It all worked out great and I made it through check in and security with no problem. I love Sac Metro because it has such great free wifi access.

Northwest is pretty amazing. We pulled away from the gate at exactly 6:29. And the flight was great except you get a coke and that's it. No food, no snack, no nothing.
In Minneapolis I had a bacon cheeseburger at the airport Dairy Queen. The plane leaving Minneapolis also left exactly on time. And I arrived exactly on time to Baltimore. Once in Baltimore I realized I never printed out any of the phone number or the directions. Luckily I saw Carrie Faust in her hot green dress and then found her and Mickey Ramos and Brenda Gorsuch after I got my luggage.
The "hour" trip to Gettysburg went well; we even got box lunches. It went much more smoothly tha last year. While we were driving, Mary Kay called and we set up out dinner to the Dobbins house that we had planned witha part of 20!

We checked in and I'm rooming with Paul, Dave, Mitch, and a guy Chuck Stevens. Supposedly we can get internet in our rooms, but no one has figured it out so far.:)

Mary Kay drove and we all went to the Dobbins House for dinner. Apparently the house was built in the 1700s.
